HATHERTON

As you can see from the before and after photo this renovation has transformed an early 90s project home from rendered brick and tiled hip roof to a stunning ultra-contemporary home. Apart from the original slab, external walls and a few internal walls on the lower level, floor structure and a few walls upstairs, this home is completely new. The major parts of the job were an extension of the left side and front of the house to include a double garage, laundry, guest bedroom, library and also completely changing the roof lines of the house with new roof trusses and rafters. The new roof lines are hidden by parapet walls which gives the house the magnificent straight lines and box sections on the front façade. Our clients were very involved in this project and made stylish selections to complement the house design. The selections included the use of a lot of timber, stone and imported tiles which also complement the joinery and fixtures very well.
